Sansui 3500

by Randy Hepker Date Added: Friday 14 December, 2012
The Pure Power G3500 is rated at 26W per channel with less than .1% THD. I have owned mine for 6 months and liked it so well I just bought a G5500. This' a great sounding unit with nice reproduction and plays with authority at all volume levels. I run a pair of 6 ohm Klipsch KG4 speakers with it. That combination makes some beautiful music out of all types of music-rock, jazz, big band, country. Nice ones sell for $100 to $150 on eBay. They are sharp looking receivers with their own unique Sansui gold glow look. You'll love them if power is your thing! These aren't limp wristed sounding like the Pioneers (SX780; SX3700) from the same period that I own. This 52W unit blows away the 90W Pioneers! The G5500 is even cleaner sounding than the G3500!!!
