Sansui AU-9500

by Charlie Corriveau Date Added: Friday 29 November, 2013
I own the AU9500. I purchased it in 1975 while I was stationed in Japan. I\'ve used it for many parties. The only problem I had was with speakers. I finally hooked it to a pair of Bose 901\'s. You can\'t get a better sound. The a,p is still hooked to my surround system. I use it to drive the 901\'s. I can\'t get the sound I want from the Pioneer VSX-815 I use for the surround system. It just won\'t drive the 901\'s. With the 9500 driving the 901\'s is still sounds like the day I purchased the amp. I\'ve owned and have used it now for 38 years. I\'ve purchased several amps over those years but I always end up hooking the 9500 up because I love the sound. I don\'t think you can find a better match than a good old vintage AU9500 and a pair of Bose 901\'s. Still is use today.
