Sansui 3110 Cassette Deck,
This is probably the most impressive deck out of the Sansui line! Being a Tech I've had the chance to work on almost every deck out there. What makes this deck stand out is it's sound first of all, it's wow and flutter very low!, build quality and just the way the cassette transport is designed!
Not many decks stand the test of time like this one! It has the same tube like sound and air in the voice which you will notice once you've brought this deck back to life by rebuilding it and resoldering all circuits. When I read what people have done to restore this unit, none have mentioned taking the time to do this! Age can degrade sound in alot of areas of circuitry! Don't take shortcuts on this unit!
