Technics RS-1506 US

by Savvas Sidiropoulos Date Added: Saturday 23 January, 2016
I have 3 such decks with assorted headblocks in 2 and 4 track configurations. Apart from the famous squeal of the tape counter (needs a couple of drops of oil to silence for a couple of years) a deck that requires very little maintenance.

Sounds decent, not as good as my Revox PR99, but looks much better. Very versatile as it combines slow 3.75ips speed, medium and high 15ips as well as half and quarter track recording by changing the headblock.
