I buy and sell and repair vintage electronics this unit like all technics cassette decks are outstanding in reliability and great sound I own one now the value is low for an outstanding deck values do not relate as much as they should to performance a lot relates to looks such as Marantz 5025 which is a very fine deck but overvalued in my opinion as an example of good looks over performance rarity is also an issue affecting value which has nothing to do with sound quality
