I have a 1973 Technics RS-715 US reel to reel like no other I\'ve ever seen. The unit I have possesses a unique \"Made for Craig Elliott\" print from the manufacturer between the \"single\" knob and the \"pause\" button. This unit is all original. The only thing I\'ve done to her is oiled her where the factory requested. Since I have a Diploma in \"Advanced Electronics\", I\'ve chosen to research who this \"Craig Elliott\" was and how it came to be that this unit was made for him...If anyone has any ideas how to help me in this endeavor, please contact me at:

I\'ve played the unit and it does play, however, it may have some capacitor\'s going south and the heads need dire de magnetizing w/alignment adjustments and the circuit board cleaned up, but original is how I am leaving her for now. Just being in this units presence brings back memories from the early 70\'s every time I see her, from the convention of 72, to all of the music from that time. I should note that several reels were with this unit. Cream and many great others!!
I\'d like to find it\'s home or original Family members.
Mr. Curt F. Hansford
