What you want to know is Peak verses RMS. Peak is 100 watts per channel. This is what the greasy salespeople wank on about. Range Mean Sound, RMS, is what matters. this is the constant true power. I'm sure you have heard a mini 300 watt system that could get blown off the cabinet and out the door by this Old School 35 watt RMS system. If you get too carried away listening to Led Zep, rather than blow the speakers, this system will trip clipping resets on the back of the speakers. I bought one with my first pay in 1981 for $995 marked down from $1395 as it was display stock and the last with dials and the new led units were out at $1495. I have been told neighbours 3 streets away can tell how many drinks I've had. All that from 35 watts per channel.

its curious how the meter reads 100 watts yet the specs say its 35 watts per channel. why is this?. i can run 4 speakers rated at 200 watts each for hours@ 40 to 100 on meter. so is it 35 or 100 help me plez, so i can rest in peace. hahaha
