The specs listed for this receiver are incorrect. The specs are for the slightly more powerful CR1040 from the same year. I have the original sales brochure and manuals. Both list the CR1020 as 70 watts per channel. NOT the 80 watts this article claims. The CR 1040 has 80 watts per channel. Still a great, powerful receiver but the above info is NOT correct.
